The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship is a unique golfing experience giving amateurs the chance to play alongside a celebrity in a televised competition.
A team of three amateurs will be joined by one of our celebrities to compete in the Celeb-Am team event. Upon your arrival at Nailcote Hall you and your team will register with our team at the event registration desk situated in the hotel. Following registration you will be able to access the VIP marquee where you will enjoy complimentary breakfast and lunch throughout the day. If you arrive a little earlier than your tee time you can enjoy the tented village and the wide variety of exhibitors ranging from fashion, automotive, professional services and golf equipment.
On each Celeb-Am day there are three tee times- 8.30am, 11.30am and 2.30pm the tournament organiser will notify you of your tee time in advance of the event, generally a fortnight before the event starts.
Teams are then asked to head to their starting hole (please note there are nine holes and every team plays the course twice to complete 18 holes). A klaxon will sound and your team of three and your celebrity will compete against the other teams from your tee time and the other two tee times that day.
(Each team consists of one celebrity and three amateurs with best two nett Stableford scores to count per hole. Maximum handicap for amateurs- 18, half allowance.)
Upon completing your round you are welcomed back to the VIP marquee to enjoy a complimentary lunch with your celebrity.
Guests are then escorted by our shuttle service to a nearby hotel to freshen up and get ready for the black tie celebrity ball which starts with a Champagne reception at 6.45pm. Our chauffeurs will then be on hand to escort you and your team back to Nailcote Hall for the Champagne reception.
You are then invited to sit for dinner in the VIP marquee where you will be joined by your celebrity and all the celebrities that have taken part that day. Tournament host Tony Jacklin CBE will say a few words at the beginning of the night and you will then enjoy a three course meal, live charity auction, prizegiving and fantastic entertainment.
Following the conclusion of your evening our shuttle service will be on hand to take you back to the hotel.
(please note each amateur is able to bring one guest with them for the black tie celebrity ball)
