With the professional championship in full swing at the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship last year’s champion, Steven Tiley has got his title defence going with a bang.
The Challenge Tour professional has scored five consecutive birdies on his first five holes to put himself into the lead. Currently on -5 there’s still a long way to go to match the performance of PGA professional Jak Hamblett who finished his round on -2 a stroke ahead of the trio of Lejan Lewthwaite, Brendan McGovern and Tim Thelen.
With a first prize of €50,000 up for grabs there promsies to be plenty of twists and turns ahead of tomorrow’s final day.
