We’re delighted to announce highlights from the 2017 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship will be broadcast over the next month on Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Mix.
As part of the long-standing partnership with Sky Sports, highlights of the Professional Championship will be shown first, with the initial programme airing on Tuesday 19th September at 8pm BST. With 25 broadcasts of both the Professional and Celebrity competitions, there will be plenty of opportunities to catch this year’s action.
The one-hour long programme will contain the best moments from two days of thrilling action that saw Richard O’Hanlon become the second player to win the Championship on two occasions. O’Hanlon saw off the likes of former Masters champion Ian Woosnam OBE, legend of the women’s game Dame Laura Davies, 2005 US Open winner Michael Campbell and 1999 The Open champion Paul Lawrie OBE. 2014 BP3 champion Eddie Pepperell, Ryder Cup player Jamie Donaldson and European Tour winner Lee Slattery also took part in the closely-fought competition.
Tuesday 3rd October sees both days of the Celebrity competition take centre stage, from 9pm. Highlights of Scottish rugby star Max Evans and Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler’s victories in this year’s Celeb-Ams will be shown. Stars including England’s 2003 World Cup winner Mike Tindall MBE, Harry Potter actors James and Oliver Phelps, English and Welsh striking heroes Andy Cole and John Hartson and BBC news presenters Dan Walker and Naga Munchetty will all be appearing in the programmes, too. 1992 F1 World champion Nigel Mansell CBE also competed for the win, alongside Irish singing stars Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy.
