Andrew Cole to play at this year’s BP3

One of the greatest strikers to grace the Premier League, Andrew Cole has been announced to participate for this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship. The Manchester United legend will be joining a host of sporting stars and celebrity faces over the course of the four-day event which takes place between 8-11 August. Hosted at Nailcote Hall in Warwickshire the Championship always has a fantastic atmosphere in what promises to be a wonderful golfing celebration.

One of the most prolific goal scorers of the 1990s, his total of 187 goals places him third on the list of all-time top scorers in the Premier league era. Whilst at Manchester United he won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League. He also played a vital role in one of the club’s greatest successes. Part of the squad that won the treble in 1999 Andrew and his teammates have gone down in history for this iconic achievement.

Andrew is not the only sporting great who will be playing at the Championship. Ex-Liverpool forward Robbie Fowler, former England rugby captain and World Cup winner Mike Tindall MBE and 1992 Formula 1 winner Nigel Mansell CBE will all be tackling the Cromwell Course in August.

Spectators are guaranteed to have a great time during the week as they witness a whole host of famous faces playing golf to a high standard. To register for free tickets, visit the website http://britishpar3.com/booking/event-ticket/2017
