Carl Mason has won the Super Senior prize at this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship. The legendary European Tour and Staysure Tour player finished his second round on +2, a stroke ahead of Ian Woosnam OBE and Costantino Rocca.
The 66-year-old has history with this element of the tournament as he has won it five times previously.
Speaking of his victory he said: “I had a good round overall but it actually got off to a bad start. I bogeyed the first and I thought it was going to be a tough day but I knuckled down and things went a lot better from there. I’m delighted to win the Super Senior category again.”
