Final Celeb-Am gets underway at Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship

With the excitement of Steven Tiley’s €50,000 win yesterday still fresh in the air, the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship is in its final day and comes to a close today with the second Celeb-Am of the week.

The team aspect of the day, which comprises a captain, two amateurs and a celebrity, enhance the spectator experience as there is sure to be a real mix of characters and players out on the course today.

8:30am was the first tee off time of the day and sees the likes of former Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman, former Manchester United midfielder, Clayton Blackmore, and ex-World Professional Darts Championship winner, Keith Deller, currently out tackling the formidable course.  

This first grouping is well acquainted with the Cromwell Course having all played at the event previously, with this being Len Goodman’s seventh consecutive appearance.

Next up at 11.30am is BBC Sport and news presenter, Dan Walker, and Emmerdale actor, Kelvin Fletcher, the latter of whom will be experiencing the course for the first time.

The final tee time of the day comes at 2.30pm and sees the final batch of celebrities and amateurs head out and includes rugby union player, Austin Healey, professional racing driver, Seb Morris and Love Island star, Chris Hughes.

This year, thanks to the event continuing to grow in prestige, it has seen even more fantastic celebrities join the line-up and the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship is thrilled to have them on the course to mark the conclusion of yet another successful week of golf.
