Some of the world’s most famous golfing icons will be heading to Nailcote Hall next week with the full list of professionals for the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship now confirmed.
Just a few of the star names who will be in action during the week include event host and two-time Major winner Tony Jacklin CBE, 1991 Masters’ winner Ian Woosnam OBE, 1999 Open champion Paul Lawrie OBE, 2005 U.S. Open winner Michael Campbell and European Tour stars David Law and Aaron Rai.
Joining these golfing icons will be a whole host of other high profile names including: Italian legend Costantino Rocca, five-time European Tour winner Jarmo Sandelin, former British Par 3 Championship winner Peter Baker, Staysure Tour star Gary Wolstenholme MBE, Carl Mason who has a record 25 wins on the Staysure Tour, two-time winner at Nailcote Hall Mark Mouland, eight-time European Tour winner Des Smyth the reigning champion Steven Tiley, American star Bob May, 16-time European Tour winner Mark McNulty and the event’s first ever amputee professional Mike Browne.
These stars will be battling it out in the Pro-Am on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August fighting it out for the championship title and €50,000 prize that comes with it.
As well as these golfing icons the BP3 will of course see a number of famous faces take on the Cromwell course including: Peter Schmeichel MBE, Teddy Sheringham MBE, Gaz Beadle, David Moyes, Kriss Akabusi MBE, Len Goodman, Brian McFAdden, Keith Duffy, Dan Walker and many more.
