Jak Hamblett wins BP3 qualifier!

Midlands based professional Jak Hamblett has won this year’s professional qualifier ahead of the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship.

In a what was a rain soaked day of play at Nailcote Hall yesterday, Jak came out on top shooting -2, winning £1,000 and earning himself a spot in the main event which takes place between 6–9 August.

Despite the weather spirits were not dampened and other successful professionals who will be competing in this year’s Pro-Am include Matthew Cort, Jason Powell, Luke Turbutt and Jack South.

This performance was extra special for Turbutt as in 2014 he won the Norma C Herd Silver Salver at the BP3 which is awarded to the best performing amateur player. 2019 will see him return to the event as a professional marking a fantastic journey for the pro.

We look forward to seeing how the guys get on during the Pro-Am on the 7th and 8th of August!

If you would like to rub shoulders with the pros out on the Cromwell Course then there are a number of playing opportunities on offer.
