Multiple European Tour winner Jamie Donaldson is the latest professional golfer to be confirmed for this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship. Best known for scoring the shot that clinched victory for Europe at the 2014 Ryder Cup, Jamie has three Tour wins to his name and has competed in all four Majors.
He will be taking on the famous Cromwell Course for the first time when the Championship returns to Nailcote Hall in Warwickshire next week for a wonderful celebration of golf. Jamie’s first Tour win came at the Irish Open in 2012 and a player of his calibre adds even more prestige to this year’s event which promises to be the best yet. His latest Tour win came in 2014 as he claimed the D+D Real Czech Masters.
As well as Jamie, a whole host of golfing stars will be in action during the event including Europe’s most successful Ryder Cup captain Tony Jacklin CBE, former Masters winner Ian Woosnam OBE, World Golf Hall of Fame member Dame Laura Davies, Italy’s greatest golfer Costantino Rocca and former Open champion Paul Lawrie OBE.
