The venue for the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, Nailcote Hall, has picked up a nomination for the 2017 World Golf Awards.
Having hosted the Par 3 Championship since 1998, the Cromwell Course of the Warwickshire-based venue is up for the ‘World’s Best Par 3 Course’. With a variety of holes and hazards including ditches, water, elevated greens and a staggering twenty-three bunkers, it’s a challenge for beginners and seasoned veterans.
Rick Cressman, owner of Nailcote Hall, said: “We’re delighted to have been nominated for such a prestigious award in the golfing world.
“Our relationship with the British Par 3 Championship is a special one, and it’s great to see both tournament and golf course grow year-after-year.”
Rivals of the award include the Bukit Pandawa Golf & Country Club, Bali, the Turtle Hill Golf Club, Bermuda and The Zhang Lianwei Course, China.
