Five qualifiers secured their place at August’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, following the Professional Qualifier on Monday 6 June at Nailcote Hall.
With the rain and wind a constant factor, it was a difficult day in testing conditions for the field, made up of 75 professional golfers, coming to test their mettle at a tough course.
Those 75 were whittled down to just a handful, with Mike Reynard beating Marcus Maith in a play-off to take a closely fought victory. Securing the final qualification spots were Ashley Mason, Jamie Dick and Andrew Willey.
The countdown to the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship is now well and truly on, with qualifiers surely hoping for better weather come the 9 August!
