Still all to play for in today's Pro-Am final round

Today sees this year’s Pro-Am at the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship come to an end, with the competition wide open with a whole host of stars in contention.

The event’s current leader is Steven Tiley whose score of -3 from yesterday’s first round sees him have the edge over former European Tour star Andrew Marshall and 2013 Norma C Herd Silver Salver winner Craig Lawrie.

The likes of 1991 Masters winner, Ian Woosnam OBE, European Tour rookie, Aaron Rai, 2005 U.S. Open champion Michael Campbell and Swedish star Jarmo Sandelin are all in touching distance of the title, and the €50,000 prize that comes with it.

They will be teeing off later today and today’s early groupings have already hit the Cromwell Course. The early starters include: Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour star Charley Hull, Scottish Ladies European Tour player, Carly Booth, women’s professional Amy Boulden and Ladies European Tour player, Inci Mehmet.

The morning’s pros have been joined on the course by a variety of celebrity amateur players, including former Strictly Come Dancing professional, James Jordan, Irish boyband star Brian McFadden, British athletics hero, Derek Redmond and former West Ham and England striker, Dean Ashton.

As well as the main Championship coming to its conclusion today, the Norma C Herd Silver Salver will be presented to the event’s best scoring amateur. Currently David Nelson has the lead in this aspect of the competition with a score of +3.
