There is less than a week to go until the action gets underway at the 2019 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, and even more star names have now been announced.
Swapping their cricket bats for golf clubs, Matthew Hoggard MBE, Ryan Sidebottom and Steve Harmison MBE are all heading to the Cromwell Course for this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship.
Stars of the ladies’ game, Amy Boulden, Trish Johnson and Carly Booth are all in for a bid to win €50,000 as they compete in the Warwickshire-based, Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship.
This year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship is now just a month away, with more professionals and celebrity players being announced all the time. BBC Sport and news presenter Dan Walker, former Scotland boss Gordon Strachan OBE and ex-British Grand Prix champion turned Sky Sports Formula 1 pundit, Johnny Herbert, have now all been confirmed for the Championship.
Andrew Willey (Bulwell Forest GC) and Eddie Vernon (Sutton Coldfield), took top spot at the Professional Qualifier with a classy round of -3, as a total of five professional golfers qualified for the 2018 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, in just three weeks’ time.
From the sunshine of the Love Island villa and the bright lights of Newcastle’s nightlife, Chris Hughes and Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle, two of the biggest reality stars in the UK are set to head to Warwickshire this summer, for the 2018 edition of the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship. Well known for appearing on Love Island and Geordie Shore respectively, the pair will be hoping to score in a very different way on the Cromwell Course this August!
As well as bringing together some of the biggest names in the world of golf, this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship will also welcome one of the games’ rising stars in the form of European Tour star Aaron Rai.
They’re twins perhaps best known for being stars of one of the biggest film franchise of all time, Harry Potter, but James and Oliver Phelps have also become regular faces at golf courses across the country. This year, they will be returning to the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship and will be taking on the Cromwell Course on both the 7th and 8th of August.
